General Information
1. Entry fees for each team/individual are due upon arrival at the track. Please make checks payable to Heart & Sole Sports. Team packets can be picked up in the press box at the track. Entry fees are $5 per athlete or $100 per team that have pre-registered.
2. Those athletes/teams who were not pre-registered can be added on meet day. Entry for athletes on meet day will be $10 each.
3. Athletes are seeded into heats based on entry times provided by coaches. There will be no switching of heats.
4. There will be a community/middle school/open race to begin our program at 5:00pm. The high school division races will begin at 5:30pm. There will be 2 heats of girls and 4 heats of boys with the fastest heat for each gender providing the showcase at the end of the meet.
5. Athletes must be checked in 30 minutes prior to their scheduled race. The Clerk of the Course is located at the south end of the homestretch.
6. All warm-ups, drills, and cool downs must be performed outside of the stadium. The infield of the track will be closed to all participants, coaches and spectators until the final two heats of the night.
7. For the two fast heats (Heat #2 of the girls and Heat #4 of the boys), fellow participants, coaches and spectators will be allowed on the infield to cheer on the competitors.
8. There are no locker room facilities available on meet day, but bathrooms will be open inside the track facility.
9. There will be no snack bar concessions.
10. There is a parking fee at SRJC of $4.
11. All races will have fully-automatic timing (FAT).
12. Results will be posted at the conclusion of the meet at www.crosscountryexpress.com and www.running.blogs.pressdemocrat.com.
13. Results for each team will be submitted for the HOKA One One National High School 2-Mile Postal Competition.
14. All participants will receive “Madness Swag” courtesy of HOKA One One and Heart & Sole Sports.
