Girls as good as boys?

In the history of Redwood Empire track a first took place last Saturday. At the Big Cat Invitational Ursuline’s Michelle Stone vaulted 11-9ΒΌ which equaled the Prep Best for the boys. Hall qualifies for World Championships

Former Montgomery runner Sara Hall qualified to represent Team USA at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships on March 28 in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Hall finished in 6th in open women’s 8 km in 26:37. She held a 10:42.6 2 mile pace for the roughly 5 mile race. For more coverage click here.

Reno indoor meet

Three Empire vaulters traveled to Reno and competed in the huge indoor vault meet they hold there on Jan. 30th. Ursuline’s Michelle Stone, a senior, went 10-2 in her flight. Analy junior Brenna Thomas cleared 8-10. Santa Rosa junior Rebecca McGillivary went 8-0. Complete Results
