Sara “Bei” Hall ran her first Half Marathon at the Healdsburg Wine Country Half Marathon.

Sara’s time of 1:14:33 broke the old Empire record of 1:17:08 by Julia “Stamps” Mallon, (Santa Rosa HS ‘96) at the AFC Half Marathon, San Diego 8/18/13.

Sara’s husband, Ryan, hold’s the Men’s U.S. record in the half marathon at 59 minutes and 43 seconds.

This may make them the fastest married couple ever at this distance?

US women’s record is 1:07:34 Deena Kastor (Asics) Berlin, Germany 4/02/06
Only seven US women have ever broken 1:10.
