Ukiah’s Lauren Wallace, Cloverdale’s Sarah Sumpter and Petaluma’s Danielle Steffen all helped UC Davis win the women’s Big West track title this month.
The Aggies’ lead was so large heading into the final events that head coach Drew Wartenburg scratched contenders Sarah Sumpter and Alycia Cridebring from the 5,000 to preserve them for the NCAA West Prelims.
