Woodward Park is in Fresno and has been used since 1987 for the state championships.

Of the 10 sections that make up California, Stamps, Trotter and Sara Bei have all run faster than the fastest girl ever from six of those 10 sections.

Stamps has the fastest time ever run by a sophomore or senior. She missed the end of the season her freshman year because of a ruptured appendix but very likely might have held that as well. Her freshman year she won ever race she ran in, including the Mt. Sac Elite individual race and Stanford Div. 1.
