Sara Hall National Champion again

Sara “Bei” Hall who won the National high school championship while at Montgomery has just won the USA adult Championships in St Louis. Running the 8,000m course in 20 degree weather with winds from 20-25 miles per hour, Sara’s race finished almost the same as her prep victory. Julia “Stamps” Mallon PR’s in US Marathon trials

Former Santa Rosa high running star Julia “Stamps” Mallon ran her fastest marathon time ever at the USA Olympic trials marathon race Saturday in Houston. Julia finished in 2:44:07 for a 68th place finish. Sara “Bei” Hall’s husbands Ryan Hall qualified for the Olympic team placing second in 2:09:30. Hall qualifies for World Championships

Former Montgomery runner Sara Hall qualified to represent Team USA at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships on March 28 in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Hall finished in 6th in open women’s 8 km in 26:37. She held a 10:42.6 2 mile pace for the roughly 5 mile race. For more coverage click here.
