From Luis Rosales,Piner XC and Track Former Piner XC/Track runners still running in college. Kasey Schalich (2010) runs for Biola University. She is a junior there and her team won the Golden State Athletic Conference (she was 17th place at conference) which earned them an automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship. Golden head?
Tonight the Redwood Empire’s newest Olympic competitor, Kim Conley, had a chance to introduce Olympic gold medalist Billy Mills at a Davis function. Mills is the USA’s only 10,000 meter gold medalist, winning in 1964. Apparently at some point Billy signed another Empire/Davis runners head, one Sarah Sumpter.
