SRJC Men’s and Women’s cross country competed at the 2013 Modesto Invitational at Tuolumne Park in Modesto, CA. The Men’s team brought home their second win in two meets against some of the top teams in Northern California. The Women did not have a full squad; however they had a top finisher with Taylor Falk (sophomore from Casa Grande) placing 2nd. The Modesto Invitational was held on the same course as this year’s upcoming Big 8 Championships. This sets up a great rest of the season as both teams will be competing against Four year universities at the Sonoma State Invitational at Spring Lake Park on September 21st.
