Piner has had a lot of success at the Lagoon Valley Classic Invitational and this year was no different.
Efren Reyes won the varsity small school division in 16:14 over the 3 mile course to win that race by 22 seconds.
Paloma Romero won the girls varsity small school division in 20:05 by 20 seconds. Her team also won the 12 school race as Sheena Blackwell 21:55 15th and Mayra Villa 22:52 30th also had top 30 places.
Last year Romero won in 20:02. Reyes was second to Jaime Silva 16:02 to 16:10.
Piners Frosh-Soph Boys team placed 4th.
