Since this is a high school running site Rylee Bowen got the big headline, see here, for winning her National Steeple event but sisters Kate and Taylin turned in a hat trick for the family winning their divisions as well.
Kate won the 3000 Meter Run 13-14 Division in 10:37.63.
Taylin won the 1500 Meter Run 8 & Under Division in 5:43.49.
Kate’s time, who will not be in High School until the 2016/17 school year, is already better than all but 17 Empire HSer’s have ever done.
Taylin’s time is, I believe, only 21.68 seconds off the world record of 5:21.81 for her age.
