This afternoon at a NVL JH league meet, Jesus Rojas of Calistoga Middle, a 7th grader, ran a 4:56.6 for the 1600.
Rojas won the Viking Opener Middle School Boys race 2 mile in 11:28 earlier this school year.

Rojas’ splits were 71, 2:28, 3:42 and 4:56.6
