Rylee Bowen has been making big waves in the running world but the Bowen family is much bigger than just her.
Last year I reported on Rylee’s race against Joan Benoit Samuelson in the 5k race at the Napa Marathon. 1984 vs today: Legend and Prodigy

At this years 5k Rylee, just an 8th grader, was joined by her younger sisters,
Kate and 6 year old Taylin.
As you can see below their results are out of this world.
RYLEE BOWEN 1st 18:02
KATE BOWEN 2nd 18:24
TAYLIN BOWEN 15th 24:07
Out of 161 females
Of the 268 male and female finishers Rylee was 6th with Kate 8th.

The other big news is, sounds like, Rylee will be attending Sonoma Academy next year.
That team is coached by Danny Aldridge who among many other credentials, coached another young prodogy named Julia Stamps, who before competing for Santa Rosa HS became the Empire’s first ever girls track state champion, 3200m 10:26.51 1994, competing for Rincon Valley JH out of the Coastal Mountain Conference. Rylee is from that same middle school.
