Big Sky Championships
Nolan Nagle, (CN 2013) went into the meet as the 15th seed in the shot put and finished 10th with a PR of 49-6. He finished as the highest freshmen among 6 of them.

SRJC track and field competed at the Beaver Relays at American River College.

Lea Butler Finished first in the women’s Pole vault with a vault of 3.24m (10’7.5”). Hitting the State Auto Qualifying Mark.

Luisa McInnis finished second in the Women’s High Jump with a jump of 1.64m (5’4.5”). Also hitting a State Auto Qualifying Mark.

Cristian Nazarek finished first in the 5,000m with a time of 16:03.62. A provisional qualifying mark.

Herbie Polk finished first in the 400m with a time of 49.48. Also a provisional qualifying mark.

Brandon Beck finished first in the 200m with a time of 23.33.

The Men’s 4×100 team finished 3rd with a time of 42.72

The Men’s 4×400 team finished 2nd with a time of 3:25.20

SRJC Track and Field competed at the Chico Multi Classic this year. A meet of only a Decathlon and a Heptathlon.

On the women’s side Allyson Bricker finished 6th with a score of 3104, which is a school record and is now 7th in the North. Kayla Sealey scored 2414, finished 8th overall and is 9th in the north. Both were the first heptathletes in SRJC school history.

On the men’s side, Kasey Mancini finished 2nd scoring 5366. A NorCal qualifying mark and is currently ranked first in the north. David Hernandez finished 6th and scored 5018 that ranks him 3rd in the north. Gideon Halpin placed 8th with a 4579 and is ranked 5th in the north. Tucker Sprinkle finished 9th with a score of 4162 and is ranked 6th in the north.
